Year 10 Military Day
Despite the unpredictable weather, sunshine, cloud, and plenty of showers throughout the day, our Year 10 students fully embraced the challenge and demonstrated fantastic resilience, teamwork, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The day began with a presentation from representatives of the British Army, giving students an insight into one of the many career pathways available after school, alongside information about roles, training, and transferable skills. This was followed by a range of practical team-based activities which, as the photos show, were engaging, challenging, and thoroughly enjoyed by students.
As part of our careers programme, we are committed to ensuring students are exposed to a broad range of education, training, and employment opportunities, enabling them to make informed decisions about their futures. Engagement with external organisations is designed to provide information, develop employability skills, and broaden awareness of different pathways available to them.
