Performing Arts Deanery Day
We were delighted to welcome students from nine of our feeder schools for a vibrant day of dance, music and drama. The workshop gave everyone the opportunity to collaborate and build confidence before performing their own dance pieces to each other.
There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day, with lots of enthusiasm, encouragement and support shown by all. Students clearly enjoyed the experience, and it was wonderful to see such a wide range of performances, from the Charleston to street dance.
A highlight of the event was a special snippet from our school musical, The Wedding Singer, performed by SPH students. Our Year 8 students also did a fabulous job as compères, warmly welcoming each school and helping the day run smoothly.
Most importantly, the day reflected how, through our shared faith, all of our schools are connected. It was a joyful celebration of community, creativity and togetherness.
